It's definintely the most exciting time of the regular season. We're in the home stretch and headed for the playoffs. One of
the things that makes this year different, is just how close the playoff races are.

This is the best start we’ve had since I’ve been a member of the Spurs, and the best thing is that we are nowhere near the
level we hope to be at in April when we start the playoffs.

As you might imagine, it's been a very busy summer, so it's been quite a while since I've had a chance to check in, but I'm
very excited about the new season and hope all of you Spurs fans are, too.

We're still on the road, and we just got a huge win at Minnesota. We knew it was an important game because they had four
games on us, and we may see them again in the playoffs.

Sometimes, you just can't help but miss home, especially when you're on the road in some of the coldest places throughout
the country.

We've come a long way since I last checked in, but we still have a lot to accomplish as a team. I have been pleased with how
we are coming together more.

As a team. we're starting to feel more confident- but not overconfident. We all know that we're still building. We know we
aren't anywhere close to peaking, but that we're getting better and playing with a lot more confidence than we were.

I have to admit this is a bit of a frustrating time for us as a team, but we will get through it. We've had a rash of
injuries, including mine, and this hasn't helped our process of coming together on the court.

It's been a long summer and I can't wait for opening night's ring ceremony. So much has happened that it seems like forever
since we won the NBA Championship.

Wow! What a season this was! Winning the NBA Championship was special for me in many ways.
Part of it was how we won that game. How exciting it was to be part of that.

I'll be honest with you... I've been telling people that I'm a little shocked to be in the NBA Finals. It seems like so long
since the 1999 Championship.

I'm very excited that we are in the Western Conference Finals again. We have worked hard all year to get to this point, and
beating the Lakers was a huge accomplishment, but it is still not our ultimate goal.

Wow! A lot has happened since I last checked in and it's only been two weeks.
First of all, I want to say thanks to everyone who has written and congratulated me and my teammates on our accomplishments
this season and so far in the playoffs.

I've been working hard- concentrating on winning games - but I wanted to make sure to check in with everyone before the
playoffs get started and tell you a little bit about how things are going and what I'm thinking about the toughest, yet most
exciting part of our season.
