Coming Together
We've come a long way since I last checked in, but we still have a lot to accomplish as a team. I have been pleased with how
we are coming together more. Lately, we have run some plays that freed me up and had me moving to spots on the floor that
are different
than the ones the opposition is used to seeing me in. This is just one new wrinkle in the many that we have added. We have
all been working very hard to improve as a team and I think it is just an evolution. Now, let's just hope we can stay
healthy. It seems
like injuries keep haunting our team this season. Just when we think we've shaken
it, another one of us goes down. Still, there is no question that we have grown quite a bit as a team during recent weeks.
We'll keep working hard. There is no time to relax when you play in the toughest division from top to bottom.
I'm looking forward to this weekend's Bowling for Dollars Charity Bowl-A-Thon. As you may know, my Foundation is behind the
yearly event and once again the event is sold-out. Come back to the site for photos and an update after the event. Since the
first event in 2000, the event has helped us raise over $500,000 for breast and prostate cancer detection, prevention, and
treatment. These funds are helping our community and making a difference. We work very hard on putting it together each
year, and I can't wait to share
photos and details about what went on with all of you. We'll have updates for you on the site soon.
Before I go, I just wanted to thank all of you who sent greetings and good wishes for a great new year. I hope you all have
a blessed new year as well and that your holiday season was as wonderful as ever. Thanks for dropping by.
