San Antonio Spurs 107, Dallas Mavericks 89

Dallas, TX Nov. 30 / Wire Reports --
The Philadelphia 76ers look to end their road woes as they continue a five-game trip with a visit to the San Antonio
Spurs.
The 76ers dropped their fourth straight away from home on Saturday in Orlando, losing to the Magic 105-99. Allen Iverson had
a game-high 27 points, but missed three of his final four shots and committed two of his three turnovers in the final
1:33.
``We had the game. This is a game we could've won,'' Iverson said. ``We just didn't do the things we needed to do to get it
done. We didn't get stops when we needed to, and I had a lot to do with that on both ends.''
Iverson finished the game shooting just 7-for-25 from the field.
``He's a guy that needs to force the issue with us -- that's the way we win basketball games,'' 76ers coach Jim O'Brien
said. ``It generally works out well for us. It just didn't tonight.''
Marc Jackson had 17 points and a season-best 11 rebounds, and Andre Iguodala scored a season-high 15 points.
Ending their skid won't be easy against the Spurs, who are 6-0 at home this season. San Antonio won its fourth straight
overall on Tuesday with a 107-89 victory over Dallas. The Mavericks were being coached by former Spurs player Avery Johnson,
one of the most beloved players in San Antonio history.
``Avery was pretty into the game,'' said Tim Duncan, who had 20 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks. ``He knew what we like
to do and I thought he did a real good job.''
Devin Brown scored 14 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter as San Antonio used a spurt to blow the game open. Beno Udrih
also had 16 off the bench.
The Spurs have now won eight of their last 10 games.
